Soil, sediment and invertebrate tissue kits
For an overview of our soil, sediment and invertebrate tissue kits, please see info below.

Soil kits
For taking terrestrial soil samples
Our soil kits contain a corer for taking samples in soft soils and a pot for transporting samples back to our labs. The kits are designed for taking samples in terrestrial soils, as opposed to sediment. We have a kit specifically designed for use with sediment samples (see further down this page).
Please note - due to licencing regulations, we have two versions of this kit - one for sampling in UK and EU - and one for use outside of this region.

Marine sediment, and Estuarine & mangrove sediment kits
These kits contain a 25mL plastic scoop for taking samples in wet sediment and a pot for transporting samples back to our labs. This kit is for taking samples in marine, estuarine and mangrove sediment, as opposed to terrestrial soil - a specially designed kit for soil is available (see further up this page).

Invertebrate tissue kit
This kit contains a pot for transporting tissue samples back to our labs. This kit can be used for sending us a sample of invertebrates collected from terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments - from e.g. pitfall and malaise traps; kick- nets; marine structures (ship hulls, port walls, artificial reefs, wind farm constructions); and marine water (plankton nets).
